Why am I not getting some of the achievements

Some of the achievements have gotten broken by site changes.

You can write to support@chess.com and they can unlock the ones you should have gotten.

I am not getting killer queen or killer rook after defeating Martin Bot twice.

Why though?

I've played a game of King of the Hill yet didn't get the "Higher Ground" award (actually played it twice I think), and played a round of CrazyHouse but didn't get the award for it either.

Also for variants, you need to play on the chess.com live servers and not the variant server. To do this, when you click play, instead of clicking variants, click the option that says play then custom and then pick the variant. Hope this helps : )

i tried to get the 4 player chess achievement but it did not come for me

I didn't get Statistician either, even though I looked at all my stats

you have to play an actual live game.

Bots don't count

I try to play the different variant and even the 4 players but I did not get the achievement and also I look in my stats but it did not give and I try to go on live but did not also give the achievement

I think that the chess bots don't give achievements

u need to play real people, not bots

I have a deal for the first taker: If someone helps me get the 'checkmate with castling' achievement, I'll help them get it too

cuz u gotta beat a REAL person

1 did 100 daily puzzles

But I did not get the awards
