Why am I not getting some of the achievements

It’s because that it does not work with bots . It only worked playing players

The achievements system is buggy. Contact Support for them to manually unlock them for you.

A lot of them don’t work on the mobile app and some just don’t work at all

I can’t get any variant achievements

Now chess.com removed 8 achievements, then they removed 4 more, bringing down the total number of achievements from 145 to 137 to 133

they removed 2 more achievements (first! and battle royale)

awards that i should have Statistician silicon brain the daily 960 awards 4 player award and some other ones

Actually the 960 award which says that you need to 10 960 games is wrong. You actually need to play 13 to get the award.

Now I think chess.com will just remove the achivement section 😭😭😭

It's popular, as evidenced by all the threads we see about it, even by all the complaints when players feel they're being shorted. And it doesn't require a lot of resources. So, I doubt very much they'll do away with it.

They are deleting a few achivements because they are glitched but there are some achivements which absolutely make no sense to remove
