They seem to be overhauling the system, but in an incremental way

Yes evryone used to like the fact that you needed to go to chess.com support to get some of the achivements but many people also didn't like that as they didn't know how to contact support and moreover chess .com employees thought that it was way too much work to deal with so they decided to rather remove the achivements.

A bit silly they removed achievements just because they didn't work 🙃

To get the **"Tweet"** achievement (or the **"Social Media"** badge, depending on how recently your account interface updated), you technically don't even need to have a real Twitter/X account or post anything publicly. You just need to trick Chess.com into thinking you clicked the button. Here is the exact step-by-step shortcut to trigger the achievement in less than 30 seconds: ### The 30-Second Shortcut 1. **Open any completed game:** Go to your **Archive** (or your profile) and open any game you have already finished playing. 2. **Find the Share Button:** Look underneath the chessboard or next to the game review panel for the **Share** icon (it usually looks like a paper airplane, a network node, or a classic share arrow). 3. **Click the Twitter/X Icon:** Click on the share icon, and a pop-up menu will appear with different social media choices. Click specifically on the **Twitter** (or **X**) logo. 4. **Close the New Window:** Chess.com will open a new browser tab or a pop-up window redirecting you to Twitter's page with a pre-written post about your game. **You can close this tab immediately.** You do *not* need to log in to Twitter, and you do *not* need to actually hit the "Post/Tweet" button. ### Why it works: Chess.com's system cannot actually track what you do once you leave their website. The code for the achievement is triggered the exact millisecond you click the Twitter button *on Chess.com*. Once that link is clicked, the server registers the task as complete and awards you the badge instantly. Go ahead and try it on your computer or phone browser—it's one of the easiest "free" achievements on the site!
