Why automatic recurring subscription?

Hi there,

I REALLY want to become a premium member but I'm completely against automatic recurring subscription. I don't understand why we couldn't just pay $X for one month or 3 months or whatever ...

I'd become premium member in a second if the automatic recurring subsciption is dropped.

Thoughts?

Same thoughts here... would like to have the option not to auto-renew.

As with most things, it's about the money. Auto-renewals work. Sites get more money. Maybe you should contact staff about this. I would think that if you pay for 1 month or 3 you would be able to cancel before your paid membership is auto-renewed. Don't be surprised if the option isn't available by clicking your mouse. Again, money.

Auto-renewal is canceled but you remain premium for the period you have paid for.
