Why did ChessKid.com and Chess.com become so slow?

If you're talking about Live, everyone shares a server. At least, last I knew there wasn't a distributed process for Live.

But now Chess.com has become terribly fast than before!

They may have spun up a separate process/server for that to help with load and prevent crashing. I haven't seen anything about it but I don't see everything that gets posted.

even if there was a single live server, the normal website and its features like notifs, PMs, forums and clubs were lagging a lot

The site uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for some things and may have some distributed components for other things; I'm not sure there. But if the CDN servers closer to you were having issues, then that could explain some slowness. For anything not covered by the CDN, just some part of the connection between your region and the site servers could have had some issues causing slowness as well.

it is slow due to poor connection not the website

also i lost many games due to that poor connection by getting disconnected automatically

my pc is like so old like its 10 years old but still sometimes they will  be speed 

but when my internet is slow it gets disconnected automatically and make the game abandoned

my father has a apple laptop its new one

when i play chess on that they will be no lag , they will be total speed

so according to my opinion, chesskid.com and chess.com are not slow

they become slow due to our poor connection and also due to the device that we use
