Why did you choose your chess name - what's the best one you've seen?

I didn't choose mine it choose me.

I write mystery novels where the main character is a chess player and I feature real games in my books. Two of the series won Chess Book of the Year! 

Junebug is what my friends call me, and it's a unique name as well.

I stole the name from my favorite localish soccer/football team. 

mine is weird....its a photo of me with my name......huge lol.... and being sports mad...my username is from the greatest sporting game on the planet...and I've seen them all...grid iron..basketball..soccer..baseball ..tennis  etc..etc...Australian Football League......AFL..footy

I've been an FPS player for many years and my name is taken from an old Judas Priest song called Leather Rebel, I used to ride a motorcycle and one verse from that song seemed to fit me perfectly. I usually go by the name Ren but that was either too short or already taken.
