Why do I keep getting (unjustified) inaccuracies in my analysis?

Hi all!

Hi , recently I noticed i get a lot of inaccuracies in the game review (I usually do a quick review with 20 dept (2nd lowest). when I am unsatisfied i go full 30 dpt), EVEN THOUGH when I start the engine and analyse myself the move is more often than not not only among the 3 best moves and not really much worse (so a totally fine move) , it might even be the best move all along!?!?

I usually asume it depends on the depth for sure but I had at least a few occurances where my move was always on top and marked dubious (a ?!) . It is starting to get really annoying, not only is it frustrating but also wasted time when just trying to find my mistakes to improve.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

I dont have a good example handy right now, but I can find some for sure

Ok, just one really quick one, the first I could find: Here https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/36798032779?tab=review

move 11 I played Rb8. while it is fluctuating a little it always is at least 3rd best and still >-1 among other moves Rc8,  Nd7. at lower best it is even best at -1.3

At no point i think this move is dubious.

And I get this in almost every game ..

At depth 26 Rb8 is listed as excellent. That said, most things are going to be based on depth and at any particular run, the evaluation of a move can differ somewhat. Add to that, if the position analysis engine is different than the server side analysis, you'll see differences.

Most of the classifications come down to a change in evaluation; if the change is high enough, over the best move, it can get flagged as an innacurracy,  even if it's still in the top moves.

Thx for the answers!

Yes, I know it is to be taken with a grain of salt. After all, I DO check all my games. I just had the feeling that this has occured more often recently. Maybe it flags too many moves as [?!] This can hardly be helpful for a beginner when he gets an enourmous number dubious moves while the engine says it is actually a fine move. I mean, how perfect does he expect me to play :-).

I just thought maybe there is a problem with 20dpt, like it should be 18 or it has to be higher to make sense. But I had moves marked that were good at 30 dpt, too.

Maybe SF 14 is just arrogant and crazy ;-)

I wish fewer moves got marked, I am satisfied with my  clear mistakes and blunders ;-)

Yes, it's no good. I suppose it's good for very weak beginners and it's ok for you and me and others who understand its weaknesses. But it must be very damaging to all the improving players because it stops them thinking for themselves. Kills their confidence. That coach isn't so great maybe.

But I've seen it give losing moves as good moves and good moves as inaccuracies.

It jjust doesn't know what to make of move 5 of the Sicilian variation I play.
1. e4 c5
2. Nf3 a6
3. d4 cd
4. Nxd4 Nf6
5. Nc3 Qc7

At first it used to give it as an inaccuracy. Then it decided it was "good". Then an innaccuracy agsin. Then "book", if I recall right, really weirdly. Last time I looked, it was an inaccuracy again.
