thats also something i only see on chess.com. on other chess-sites premoves actually are premoves with no time-consumption at all.
so why is it chess.com decided it would be a good thing to consume time on premoves?
i mean, you can premove a whole game and still loose on time if your opponent does the same (and every premove for both players works of course)
I guess it's because chess moves have always consumed time in the real world.
If lichess wants to pretend that they don't, that's up to them.
