Can you show me a single position from any of your games where Stockfish 2 would have proven inadequate?

These questions confuse me. The Analysis board clearly has Stockfish 14.1 +NNUE. (Or, it does on my browser, anyway - which is Microsoft Edge.)

I also checked on Chrome, and it's there, too.

Go here to see if you have it:

https://www.chess.com/analysis

Click on the Settings (gear icon) at the top right of the board, right next to black's rook:

It'll open a window that shows you the version of Stockfish that the analysis board is using:

In my browsers (Firefox on PC, Brave on Android), it's Stockfish 12. There is no option for 14. As per previous responses, not everyone has the same access.

No, you are not Microsoft. You are someone who does not accept facts, changing it for your 'gain', and then puts the Microsoft logo as your PFP claiming to be the company itself. That is you.

I don't think he's actually claiming to be Microsoft. I just think his command of English grammar isn't all that great.

I've got Stockfish 14 on Chrome but only 12 on Firefox. But I'm on Beta, so maybe they haven't it released yet to the main version.

Hmm, maybe you're right. So he's also either a liar or delusional. Let me guess which one...

The funny thing is, Microsoft is probably keylogging everything he does on his PC, haha...

Are you on Beta or the 'normal' game?

I think that Chess.com  prefer runs a program that runs in its own server.
External programs can easily be used to cheat.

Maybe Chess.com also needs to pay if it uses Stockfish 14.

(my opiniopn only, I can't proof it)

Your presumptions seem a little bit off since Stockfish 14 is already on its way and even active for some players.

Why would someone want to cheat when performing analysis? Also, I think Stockfish is free and open source. So it can't be money. Maybe technical issues, or time and effort, but not money.

Kowarenai

yeah idk maybe cause they use komodo

My understanding is it's Chrome only and last I knew, only beta, but may be available outside beta. It's also possible any Chromium based browser may be able to see it.

Also, the site would target the browser used by the majority of site users, for any features that need browser specific configuration to work correctly.

  1. It's working on Chromium(Linux), just tested it. And according to @Stil1 it's working on MS Edge as well.
  2. Targeting Chrome is only the first step, other browsers will follow. That's what Danny Rensch had to say about this issue in yesterday's update "State of Chess.com".
