Why have threads been moved to off topic?

There are some threads (like this and this) that have been moved (presumably by a staff member) to Off Topic, when they would fit better in the original category. Why were they moved?

/!\ Threads that do not describe the Chess.com Community are moved to off-topic.

This usually happens when conversation on said threads drifts off topic or to trollish themes.

lol I was thinking the same thing at first. I guess chess.com doesn't really like trolling

ReasonableDoubt, a fellow tiger and good comrade.  Realized how much time I was wasting on here, left, and now I'm in a position where I can't study effectively and I have too much time on my hands so I'm back.
