why im suck in daily
1450 in bullet. It's interesting
now 1630… peak was 1670 but i fell down so i decided not to play anymore
Everyone is different in their strength & weakness of chess. Jhon2011 your chess stats are amazing. (Way better than my stats. I'll admit.) 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
For me it's the complete opposite. I take my time in daily, sometimes I think 20 minutes about a move and I'm sure many spend even more time. You seem to have a very good intuition already so you pick good moves quickly. For daily, try to verify your first instinct. What will the oppont do? Maybe they have other responses as you first thought? Can you find other candidate moves than your first intuition? Compare them, play through some options in your head. Then decide on one move. I often place that move and go through it once again until i press submit.

20 minutes per move? wow. I place my move in daily like it is blitz. i guess i gotta change my attitude of thinking in daily.
Focus on rapid, bullet won’t help you improve
maybe my rapid is too low. i won 16 times of my latest 20 rapid games. maybe i can reach 1200 or more soon.
I spend like 5 seconds thinking then move
Maybe it's a train of thought issue. That's my problem with daily. Classical or faster, I'm thinking about the game the entire time and it's like one stream of consciousness. Daily ends up being too fragmented for me. That and I suspect many people in daily use engines to look up available lines.
Yeah, good point, you really need some time to "get back" into the game. I usually move the game back a few moves and then go move by move. But then again, it's a bit like puzzles: you get a position and need to find the best move.
Stop using rapid and blitz strategies in daily. IE making quick moves without thinking, hoping your opponent won't see the correct response, with plenty of time has more of a chance too. Also the rapid/blitz plan of attack attack attack without any mind to your opponent having enough time to find the correct defensive response and counter attack you will often fail.
