Just got a reply, seems like that there are no current plans to create a native WP8 from Chess.Com mobile app developers. So looks like I am stuck with Chess Club and using FICS for the time been. Kind of sad as I like the Nokia and WP8 and also like Chess.Com to play live chess and there is no way that I am going back to using an iPhone so will have to live with Chess.Com when at home on computer. Maybe there are not enough users of WP8 for them to bother, but this site has over 7000000 members and WP8 has about 5% market share so can expect that there would be 350000 users of this site that would want an app. I would even pay something like $15 for the app even though it is free for iOS and Android users. Hope more people request Chess.Com to make an app. Then maybe they might consider it
Windows Phone App?
Please make a Windows phone app! I would buy a membership if they did. The NPChess app is good, but isn't anywhere near as good as the official chess.com app for iPhone.

we will get to this soon! we are currently COMPLETELY rewriting the android and iphone apps. once those are done, we will have the template for doing windows. my guess is 3 months.
Good to hear that from a person of the staff! It seems always too late but now there is a plan :). Thank you chess.com.

Thats great, is it just going to be a port or will it use metro design guidelines
also you might be interested in this, microsoft is paying devs up to $100,000 for new apps. You will be able to get something

This is excellent news, if an app does come then I can leave my iphone and purchase a lumia 1020... I was about to start a kickstarter project for this.
mla1: keep you iphone :)! WP is not bad, but apps are 99% lower quality. I had an iphone, now I use WP, and I like it, but at low-price devices.
Hi All,
There are a way do play in cross platform app.

I have a Nokia Lumia 925 and I can't get either daily puzzles or tactics trainer working in the web browser. Really wish there was a Windows Phone chess.com app. My premium membership has become a lot less useful.
So it looks like it will take until 2014 before a WP8 Chess.Com app is released, I suppose I can wait this long as I have survived using my Nokia till now. And there have been no advances from any competitors on WP8 platform. I have never been a paying member for Chess.Com but can see advantages of becoming one, but will wait for the WP8 release before committing.
I have just written an email to the Help & Support to discuss this possibility of a native WP8 app, as I think that they don't have time to read all these requests in the general forum posts. I will respond back in this topic when or if I get a reply.
