You might have heard of it. Basically, if you want to boil a frog in a pot, the key is to raise the temperature very slowly. If you just dop the frog in a boiling pot, it'll hop out. But if you drop it in a pot of water at room temperature and raise the temperature slowly, then it won't be able to tell what's happening, and before it know it, it's been cooked.
