YouTube Tryouts!

I just uploaded a couple of new videos (my 1st and 2nd rated blitz games played on chess.com) and I must say I struggled making these games because I am quite rusty at online blitz.  I could quite easily lose to a 1500 that is really putting in hours of practice every day and working hard on their game!  I guess that would make it more entertaining for some.

Squarology (apparently not his real name!) has the best videos yet. This dude needs to be given some serious consideration.

I like Squarology's videos. They are very enjoyable.

Tartarus_BW

Squarology's is indeed quite good. But do we really want another crazy International Master named Danny? :p

MrDamonSmith
Yes to that last question. If chess.com is taking into consideration what the members prefer I vote for SQUAROLOGY. Its gotta be quite the balancing act to explain in an easy to understand way the strategic goals of a position while battling the opponent AND clock. Has to be tough in blitz. I like that he includes losses, his games are easier to relate to for the rest of us out here. The way he explains things is top notch. So not only is he entertaining he's good enough to bring viewers understanding to a better level.

what about videos in Spanish? or do you want only English spoken videos?

You're good! But I still prefer Squarology so far.

Thank you so much for all the support! I'm really surprised to be honest (O_o)

One thing though, Webmaster said, "winners" and "one of the new faces," so there could be a few presenters that "win."

I think all of us in this thread with entries can improve a lot. When I first started doing youtube videos, they were dreadful. Dreadful. I can't even bear to watch them now. I guess I improved a lot.

The video must be in English? Or they can be made in other languages, such as Spanish and Portuguese?

My vote, though I know this isn't a vote, would be for Skaternest0.

I have my application below, in which I play a blitz game on of course, Chess.com. It was quite fun, and I include tips in the opening and middlegame. I also do video editing, and can do more if it is necessary. Hope you enjoy my first application, and my second one will be coming soon for more diversity! I would really appreciate this opportunity!!

OK, here's a really rough set of five videos featuring me attempting with various degrees of failure to talk and play live chess at the same time:

I would love to be a part of this.  I've been film editing for six years so with the right tools (software & hardware), I could produce quality videos. And I like to see myself as a trusted & considerate person so I'm pretty sure I have a favourable personality.

Both Chess and film editing are hobbies of mine so this is a great opportunity for me! I first played Chess when I was eight but I haven't played ever since until recently and I'm almost sixteen, so I'm not a professional but I'm fully aware of the basics.
