Is there a chess.com lesson on how to mate with knight and bishop? There are drills, but I've looked and haven't been able to find any actual instruction. There are lessons here for nearly everything, so maybe I'm missing something?
Checkmating with two minors
i know Checkmate with two bishops but with a bishop and a knight is a little but tough for me
😂😂😂
Bishops are supposed to be celibate.
Lmao, he doesn't know how to use youtube, he won't get that joke
I don't know, man, but just FYI killing minors is illegal do you should be fine
*begins calling emergency number*
A better question would be who here cannot checkmate with a bishop and knight versus a sole king?
Ushenina. Although she probably did a few drills after that game.

Who is Ushenina?
At the time, Women's World Champion.
Look up. Waaaaay up. Post #47.
Lol, being a grandmaster and unable to checkmate a sole king with a king, bishop, and knight is an embarrassment.
GingerGM and Ben finegold had a stream battle, one game Simon was winning, up a bishop knight and pawn vs something, I've forgotten, but basically he soon realised that in all probability Ben would sac the piece for the pawn and he admitted he had no idea how to mate with a knight and Bishop, if gms find it hard then either the people on here are lying or using their time poorly by studying extremely niche endgames over actual endgame theoey
It is really easy - in contrast to that other pawnless stuff. You don't win Q vs. R against an engine, fail at RB-R or RN-R with eiter side...
Once in your lifetime spent a few hours and you will know it. All those other endgames without pawns it will take you decades, probably to no avail.
Once, I was on the receiving end of B+N, and I knew how to defend properly, so my opponent didn't mate because of no(t enough) study.
I once had a position where I was a KRBN vs KR and a few pawns. I decided to trade rooks. My opponent happily accepted the trade, thinking that I didn't know the mate. I picked off the pawns, and I started grinding. I won and after the game, my dad who was watching the game told me that a player watching the game after seeing my first few moves said to him "he doesn't know it". Little did he know he thought he knew I didn';t know but I didn;t know he thoguht I didn;t know knowing that I did know.
Most people can’t do B + N just because it takes a lot of studying and practice. It took me 3 or so hours of YouTube and playing against the computer to learn it
