Aside from paying for lessons, what are the ways to practice endgame?

I feel most games don't really reach endgame and there's little chance to get real practice.

When a game does reach endgame, I find, if I lead only slightly (like +1 pawn and better structure (connected, forward pawns), I have trouble converting even against opponents minus 200-300 my rating. Against equal or better rating opponents, I've let my pawn advantage taken away and look set on losing.

Most of my former games reached conclusion before endgame (either with huge advantage for 1 side or a mate/resignation). I just returned to chess after 13 years and only after my return 2 months ago did I have 2 drawn games. 13 years ago I had ~300 games and not a single drawn one.

So the question is, if I typically don't reach endgame, how do I practice it?
