White can gain a draw by accidentally tipping the board and setting it back up with the white king at e6.

 No, even if the king was closer, it is a knight pawn that white is left with; as it is, the passed pawn runs, queens, and checkmates without too much problem (white's is not very advanced, and blacks king does not interfere with its queen). 

 However, white to play, 1. Kd6 a5 2. bxa5 bxa5 3. Kc5 a4 4. Kb4 a3 5. Kxa3 draws.

 


 

To clarify, my earlier remark, the following would be a drawn position (I think), to highlight the drawbacks to the position in question:

With black to move the white k cannot catch the black rook's pawn.
