how do I improve my endgame
At your level you don't need to read books, just basic endgame principles will carry you to 1000+, keep rooks on open files, bishops > knights (in endgames only) and keep your pawns together and learn basic opposition and king and pawn endgames
I recommend Chernev’s Practical chess Endings as a good introduction to endings for players below 1500.

Agree!
Get out an actual board and pieces and study the book shown in post 6 and then follow that up with Fundamental Chess Endings by Mueller. The 2 books combined is about 800 pages. Should take you a year to 2 years total.
Read the Silman book first, then the Mueller book second.
Don't use a computer. Making the actual moves on a 3-D board and actually having to replay moves after going through a deviation in the annotations is part or it.
I heard gooning is good
Bro why did you feel the need to type thus like there are kids that play on chess.com
Keep practicing. I’m terrible with my endgame. I could be ahead the entire game and then lose it all at that end.
