Study on the ideas instead of trying to memorize different variations.

Your failures have nothing to do with the Scandinavian, or pretty much any other opening. You just don't know the basics yet.
If you move your Queen 7 times in the first ten moves without any good reason (other than to blunder it) you should forget about openings, and focus just on opening principles until you are familiar with elementary tactics, and manage not dropping something at every second move.
And don't pay attention to #5. Everything he claims in his post is false.
