People Needed! Convert book into PGN
There probably are significant copyright issues but you can buy a copy of Pawn Endings by Maezelis (and Averbakh) in English.
https://www.amazon.com/Pawn-Endings-Yuri-Averbakh/dp/0713427973
Another edition is currently in print as part of Comprehensive Chess Endings : https://www.amazon.com/Comprehensive-Chess-Endings-Pawn/dp/4871875067
I'm not, but I was thinking in the copyrights implications, if any, but mostly in the lack of people. Too bad.
Well, how could anybody help you unless they had that copy of the same Spanish translation that you had?
Have you bought a copy of the more recent editions in English to see if it is exactly the same?
Hi,
Well I'd provide the user with a copy of that old Spanish version of course. I'm planning to buy a copy of the English version. That would ease a lot the task (provided it's the same book, which I'm not sure). Just waiting to see if some more people are interested.
In the meantime I'll ask what the "board book" on Amazon is.
Are you interested as well?
Thanks.

From the comments in this thread, it's quite difficult to tell what one is expected to be interested in.

I concur. [COMMENT DELETED] doesn't tell us much.
The OP wanted to make pgn files illustrating the teaching he found in an old Spanish translation of an old Russian book on pawn endgames by I. Maezelis.
Right. If Russian is translated to Spanish then English, I wonder how different from the original it is.
