so you cant win with a queen against connected passed pawns?
Queen vs 2 connected passed pawns
...and i think most 3-pawns vs lone queen end up a draw !...(depending on white king...hasta avoid a checking coronation)
According to https://syzygy-tables.info/ only 8% are drawn, The pawns take another 15% and the queen gets the rest.
Don't mention it.
That's whether the pawns are connected or not of course.
My guess would be that it is still be mostly won by the queen with connected pawns, but that's just based on the fact that the percentage of wins in the two pawn case is virtually the same whether or not the pawns are connected and if you try setting up random positions with three connected pawns on the Syzygy screen they almost all come back as won for the queen.
its hard for white to stop via 2...g2. insteada 2...f2
only cuz 2...g2 could lead to a draw (tho much analysis still needed) as black wansta occupy g3 w/ their king and then shuttle. but it doesnt look like a locked fortress...to me a/w.
But if you're going for the fastest mate 5.Ke4 looks better. (If the Black moves to on the h file there's the threat of mate with the queen on the h file without taking the pawns and if he moves on the g file the queen takes both pawns. Black's mate with the queen will be shorter the closer his king is if the Black king moves up the board.)
In fact best to start with 4.Kd5 instead of 4.Kd3.

You're smoking bad stuff again.
2...g2 loses to 3.Qh2 or 3.Qe1, and EVEN 3.Qg1 wins easily.
betcha took alotta time to write that one up, dintcha...burst !
hadta make VERY SURE u had e/t juuust riiight...
tryn2get even w/ me are u ?...after y-day ?
So I checked with the tablebase. You have a choice of Q to b1, d1, e1, g1, h2 or h7.
As per @pfren e1 and h2 are fastest, g1 needs an extra move. The rest need two extra moves.

Black needs to get the f-pawn to the 7th rank to draw. Nothing short of that will do.
... See diagram C in post #12 or this position
or here Black can't get his f pawn to the 7th. rank if White decides against it (even if he's willing to lose in the process) but it's still drawn
and this is a win for Black that could be reached from OP's position with sufficiently bizarre play. (Anything but a White win would require pretty bizarre play by White anyway.)
