maybe Kg3 to get the rook from the h4 square away and after rook moves and you pushed your pawn your rook can go to the h-file i guess

This example is from Silmans Complete Endgame Course.
White to move and win.
The moves he is explaining do not seem to put up the most challenging resistance and black is apparently making waiting moves a few times when he has better moves available which makes the win much easier.
I find the position hard to win against Stockfish. Can someone explain how to win this and/or suggest how to train these positions in an effecient manner?
