Bit nonplussed by "And black wins a piece" at the end of #3.
No doubt true in conjunction with the mate threat on the rank, but RvB and RvN are both mostly drawn.
Some ways of winning a piece from your final position, e.g.
8.Nd5 Rf7
9.Nc3 KxN
only draw.
