three pawn vs three pawn

when the game entered to the "end game" and nobody lost on material.

we always found that we are really close to draw where there is no pieces like rook, knight, bishop, and even the queen anymore. all just only pawns equal to the opponent.

in this situation, we must evaluate who had a better position. something like who have a more active king and more favorable pawn's position.

this puzzle i got from the game i watched. where 'white' resigned. of course white made a blunder??!! ( black's king has a better position but white has his pawn just three more move to promoting if no black's pawn block their way, somehow there is a way for white... )

black has his king ready to eat white's pawn one by one. but white has his better breakthrough way ignored any threats of his pawn.

white to move and win

The black king could even be on d4 and it's still a win for white. So close and yet so far.

Good to see this endgame again.  It's been at least two weeks since the last time it was posted.
