Tricky endgame puzzle
Another nice ending! I like that white must make the last move as well. if he waits, the knight will eventually be captured without compensation.
Whos move
This is a composition, not a game. In an endgame composition, white always moves first (unless you can prove it's blacks move).

if you are interested in kinds of checkmates

nice puzzle but how can you checkmate with only a knight and bishop
Use another board please. I can’t see squat with that coloring scheme. It also hurts my eyes a little.
I'm sorry I don't play very well but I'm wondering why the pawn didn't become a queen. You guys have hi ratings and just trying to learn something

White treats the queen promotion in the same way he treats the knight promotion - with Nc3+. Since black must save his king first, the knight will capture the queen on the next move. It's called a "fork".
Yeah, this is frustrating. I only have a few hours each week to play. I do some puzzles and play the computer rapid games. In the past, I was able to spend a good amount of time and wasn't so rushed. My play is horrible but don't know what else to do but quit. Nothing less satisfying than beating Vinh the Bot! It probably frustrates him also.
A tricky endgame puzzle made by me. It's kinda obvious but not easy.
White to move. Draw
