3 gold crowns????

New to this game site, not new to Chess. Only playing the computer right now, haven't played Chess in over 40 years!

I have one gold crown now, and 2 dark crowns. I assume you win the next crowns?

II've had the message abuot if I take back my moves 4 times, I lose the chance at another crown. I've played and won many games and not taken back moves, but never got another crown. I don't plan on becomeing a paid  member, just trying to find the rules of a genaral player. Anyone??

If playing bots, three gold crowns will be winning the top challenge setting 👍

I should ask just to clarify. I can only play the first bot. I  have to join and pay if I want to continue.

So according to your answer about getting those crowns by winning the top challenge setting, that means I have to join, pay membership, just to continue playing those bots and get to the top callenge?

You can play every fifth bot (the ones in the first column) for free.

You can also play human opponents which is probably wiser.

The bots have this weird habit of sacking their queens though......

What happens when my human player rating gets to zero???

I am below 200 in my rating playing live players, so I have stopped  playing humans till I can get better. 

I've done very well so far in playing the first row bots. I'm up to the 1300 rated bot.

But . It's been 30 years since I played computer chess and over 40 years since I played a human! LOL. What happens when my human rating gets to 0?

It won't reach 0, and if your up to the Nelson 1300 bot you cant be bad at all. I'd play with 30 or twenty minute games to give yourself time to think, you'll soon be going up in rating 👍👍

Looking at your opponents ratings, I'd advise setting custom ratings to lower, nearer your current area. Say 50 below and 100 above. See how you fare.

I'm not finding how to 'set custom ratings' to play with lower rated players to gain rating points and experience.

Also, what does 20 or 30 minute games do? Just let me think? 

I really want to play human players and move up in ratings, but I was getting murdered when I tried. I won some but gradually lost my beginning rating, which I don't know what that was now. My rating playing computers is 800 and it never changes.
