4000+ games of blitz since 2018 and I can't get above 300

Go to Settings/All Settings/Social. There you can unclick people that you follow.

Between Lichess and a different chess.com account, I have played 2000+. games as well.

Which further proves my point. I have never understood the mentality of improving by playing fast. It makes no sense.

Most people would improve by actually thinking about their moves and taking the time to learn (e.g playing rapid or classical). However, some people (myself included) improve primarily through experience (in my case, playing thousands of speed games).
