i recently began playing chess online and i think i’ve been steadily improving, but i can’t seem to win any games (yet). any advice would be greatly appreciated based on my recent games.

You are fortunate that chess.com now provides Insights into your games.
You can look and see the forks you found and the ones you missed, and so on.
