Ah, I see!
Yes, what you're describing makes much more sense than just analyzing with chess.com.
I'll do that!
Am I improving fast enough?

I will be 1 of the few commenters who will go out on a limb and say
I think you’re improving to Fast!
Seems to me like you have extremely Rapid Growth.
Improving to fast might make others look bad.
Do you feel like you must improve this fast?

yea how abt me? i was 400 but i got to 700 in a month
That sounds also really nice 👍

Really? I've often heard that you're only considered a good player once you reach around 1000–1500 rating.
I actually thought I was improving slowly 😅.
But yeah, there are a lot of players below 1000 here 🤷.

Sure - It seems like your growing extremely fast.
Are you in a rush to be higher rated?

Yeah, a little bit - I want to move past the beginner stage as quickly as possible .

No offense but your a beginner.
That’s right - and I want to move past the beginner stage as quickly as possible - like I said before.
But why the quote? Or are you perhaps in the wrong topic? 😅
Your progress is pretty average for someone going solo, you should start doing puzzles (lichess has great ones) and watching openings/tutorials on yt, gothamchess had great explanations

Ugh, learning chess is overwhelming even after binge-watching YouTube for hours... like, will I ever get the hang of this? 😅

Ok, thanks!
I’m doing all the free puzzles on Chess.com, but that’s not much, . I also have a Lichess account - maybe I should actually use it. 😂
When I say you should analyze your games, I don’t mean simply using Game Review to point out some tactical mistakes.
go over the game on your own. What was your plan? Why? What other plans might you have tried? What makes one plan better than the others? This type of self-analysis is much more helpful than using the Game Review function. It actually helps you to learn how to think about chess.
