am i progressing at all?

hi! i’ve started playing chess about 3 weeks ago, played about 500 games and won a half of them. my rating is between 650 and 750, it doesn’t get any lower, but it doesn’t get higher either. i’m watching some chess streamers like gotham chess, doing puzzles and play a lot of games, but can’t see any progress. how fast it usually happens and how many time did you need to get to 1000?

If you're trying to get too 1,000 it depends how quickly you can learn from your mistakes, you've only been playing for 3 weeks and you seem to be doing fine. One suggestion I will make is analyse your lost games, if you can see what mistakes you have made and why that game was lost you might progress quite quickly. There is no quick fix, it will take as long as it takes, keep playing and enjoying your games and you'll probably improve much faster rather than just aiming for a specific rating.
