At what rating are you no longer a beginner

What rating do one need to hit to no longer be classed as a beginner?

That depends. I would probably say around 1300. But a person at 1200 may disagree ;-)

It depends on who you ask.  I think 1200 or 1300 is no longer a beginner.  

   Somebody who is rated 900 is a strong beginner.  

   A grandmaster rated 2800 might say that a rating of 2000 is a beginner.
