Common Beginners Problems : As a beginner I also faced many problems some are here which I think every beginner can relate. Hanging Pieces. Random Opening Moves. to fix use d4, e4, e5, d5 to control center. Develop knights and bishop early. No endgame knowledge Lastly.. The Queen Addiction. Many beginners love using queen as soon as game start . I have seen many of opponents making this mistake which led the opponent to capture their queen early and lose tempo

Do the following and you will easily make USCF C class. Follow opening principles. Blunder check your moves. Ask: "What is my opponent trying to do?"
