Quite difficult mate, but You will learn a lot about the Bishop and the Knight by learning this mate. They are far strongest together when they are on the same colour, as they then block squares of different colour. But the Knigt changes colour with each move. So there will be a bit goin back and forth by the Knight. Together the Knight and Bishop can block the enemy King in a very limited room.

I've been playing chess since I was a kid but only seriously started trying to understand the game deeply and improve as a player for a few days now. Im having a lot of fun with the puzzles and drills here but the 2 bishop checkmate took me over an hour to learn, and the Bishop/Knight is all but impossible for me to understand right now. I'm still getting comfortable with maneuvering Knights and it's very hard for me to visualize my walls and lines of defense I can create with the pieces. Were these mating techniques hard to grasp for any other beginners here? Should I just move on to something else and try again when I have more experience?
