I don't like blitz in general, you can either find tips for blitz or not play blitz at all

Maybe a hardware problem. The less time you have the more important becomes the quality of your mouse.

Just play your game with absolute confidence, your opponent has the same problem after all you both have to know your game without thinking so if you play all the lines to checkmate with your opening and memorize them you should be able to wipe the floor with your opponent.

The thing with blitz is its not like bullet where you can do whatever and also not like rapid where you can think longer. you should play good moves quickly, so knowing your gameplan on simple openings where you dont need to calculate too much is the best. also you should nver resign at 800, you never know if they will blunder too.

Main "problem" to all students or any Chees players (same as any player in every sport) is time gap. Your brain need time to process new coming information and naturaly it cost some time. Speaking of spirit of sports time is equal to our experience.

More experience = less time

Less time = more mistakes or inaccuracy

More experience x "automatic" recognized thinking = more time for success

That is how I teach people in my class.

If you could play bullet Idk why you can't play blitz... but another reason could be because I think it's the most popular because streamers mostly play it!

If STREAMERS play it doesnt means that is good way for being better. They do for money and publicity. Bullet is for fun. Playing Chess is not fun for individual goals of success.

Your comment is not helped.

Since your bullet is better than your blitz, play blitz like you would in bullet.

He plays better in blitz, but his opponents also do and so hes usually inferior

I’m best with Blitz but that’s because I know some theory and ideas in the openings I play and I play quickly. Blitz tends to be a little forgiving toward not so good openings but if it’s solid, you will be fine

I think the people who play bullet play different chess, what I call bandit chess, basically they take all they can get away with until you have to resign..... All of those games are a mess of destruction......

If you're struggling with blitz timing, I suggest you to play 2|1 bullet, 10 minutes rapid and 3 or 5 minutes blitz, so the time gap is smaller. Then, decide witch of both opcions suits you better and play this one

thankyou all for your suggestions, I will use them

Focus on one time control you want to be good at.
If you play a faster time control, then you lose on time.
If you play a slower time control, then you play too superficial and lose on the board.
