Do you chat to players while in game? And if so how do you respond to trash talking?
It wasn't trash talking in it's true form but I just played someone who said "please play." Now I don't know if they thought I was taking too long to make my moves or if they thought I was playing badly.
At the end I won (by resignation) after admittedly faffing around in the endgame (I missed a checkmate earlier in the game too) but before my opponent left he said "nul" which apparently is French for zero, or pathetic.
I had a look at his profile and discover that he's lost far more games than he's won. So what's with the trash type talk and asking me to hurry? Are these people actually serious about chess?
