I personally use the studies on lichess for opening training. But it's better for my learning style than the chess.com openings database
chess openings???

check the free courses...

To be fair, on that level it is opening principles you need, and to learn how to avoid blundering pieces for free.
Learn the first 3-5 moves of the line you wish to play, and then just gain experience by playing the game.
When you finish the game, you can consult opening explorer to see where did you deviate, but to be fair, people will rarely play a main line on that level. Openings don't really matter at this stage.
