clock for the puzzles?

Do you receive more points for figuring out the puzzles faster? Or is it just to remind us “this shouldn’t be taking all day?😎 just curious

pretty sure it does give you more points, but it is much better to just get the puzzle correct then fast

This is correct, to get full credit for a puzzle, it has to be solved quickly, compared to it's average solve time.
The thing to remember is if you get it wrong, you'll lose the same amount of rating regardless of how quickly you failed it

There is a fixed time period per puzzle, beyond which you receive less points than if you were to complete it beforehand. This is measured as a % of the actual difference from the fixed time period; therefore, it follows that the ELO drop-off is exponential the longer you take beyond that point.
