Complete beginner to 2000 ELO in 8 to 12 months?

Hello community,

I hope everybody’s doing well today .

exactly 4 months ago I began playing chess, I never liked this game but a friend told me to play just a few games and when I did play I began to have this obsession to overcome chess (or maybe I let it overcome me).

I was terrible at it and it triggered me abit when I looked up this game and saw a lot of people claiming it is near impossible to start chess when you’re over 18 and end up doing very well, or some saying 2000 elo is rarely done within a 1 year time frame .

I have managed to go nearly 1600 ELO within my 4 months of playing and I’m unhappy with my rating climb speed so I try to get as much advantage as I have with the free stuff out there to help me improve .

i would like to reach 2000 ELO in the next 4 to 8 months, which means some 400 ELO and every climb I make has some bumps and turns until it becomes my actual rating.

i kindly ask for any possible tips to help me understand the mental state of 1600s and what I could study or work on to reach 1700 .

Lastly, my previous topics had a lot of people helping me through my journey and I’d like to take the time to thank them .

kindest Regards,
