Forgive me but why are the pieces in some daily games not starting off in their original position. First time playing a daily game and getting all confused….lol, tough when the pieces are set up differently.
Anyone?

Did you accidentally accept a 960 daily game or something? Those have random back row pieces, also called Fischer random. It’s a variant.

Oh I must have….thanks for the info 😂. I’ll try to figure this thing out!
Chess960 is the only option I suppose or FEN Challenge?

Maybe you mean Thematic Tournaments (games with the first few moves of a specific opening already made)?
