Because I dont ACTUALLY like the fried liver, I just like the wins that come from it. (Although, Im starting to realize, whats a win if it isn't even that fun?)

Ruy is self explanatory, super complicated.

Scotch I did actually consider, but decided against, but I could use that as an alternative.

Ng5 is (in my opinion) not that good if blocked with the Na5 mainlines, and those positions dont look too fun in my opinion.

Also, respect for using the panov caro. Very nice.

Yea, pretty much. I just like studying openings cuz im not really caring about improving, but I just wanna have fun, and I find openings fun.

But you are wrong, my repertoire is not why I am 1400 in rapid (for good or bad).

I am 1400 in rapid, because I am much stronger than when I started 2 years ago as an adult from not knowing the rules even properly. And at the same time I am still just a beginner, albeit a rather strong beginner, so still much weaker than an expert or a master or even a good club player.

But I am making progress and I guarantee you that switching to 1.d4 would not make me a stronger player by magic.

If you dislike the Evans Gambit or the Ng5 line, you are free to do so, but I will keep studying those lines, learn to understand them and also remember the key moves and all that will matter is who played better after the opening is done.

100-1400s is still consider a beginner in chess and don't know opening principles and blunder in their games. How come you start chess as an adult but why not kid though? I have one word for you watch gothamchess for chess progress. My rating went from 1900s uscf to 2100s uscf because of him. He is a goat.

I already stated I am still a beginner.

I will not watch Gotham Chess for improvement although sometimes I still stumble on some of his videos. I don’t think videos are the best way to learn. I like books and at the moment I enjoy Irving Chernev’s books a lot. Gotham Chess I find a little bit annoying with all the shouting and overreacting etc.

I just happened to find chess as an adult and not as a child. My parents did not play chess and there was no chess boom like there is these days when I was a child. There was also no internet where I could have played (internet was not very common in those days) so I would have had to find people to play with. Things were different back in the 80’s.

My question to you: Why are you trying to insult me? Does it make you feel superior? Does it make you forget how insignificant you actually are?

If I want to see a goat, I will go to a farm and see one. Might see some cows and pigs too. Those are all cute. I like animals.

Also, your profile says you are a 65-year old retired man living in Ukraine, yet you recommend Gotham Chess, use words like "goat" and went up in USCF rating, which is rather peculiar since I would think most USCF rated tournaments are held in the US and not in Ukraine, where there is a war going on.

I played chess since the Dinosaur era. I went to the U.S. back in 2021 to get my uscf rating. I am in my basement to avoid bombing in Ukraine after moving back to my country back in 2022. There are many perspectives.

I find that very hard to believe. No matter how many perspectives I look at it from, I feel like you are probably not telling the truth. Sorry, buddy.

See you say you went to the US back in 2021 to get your USCF rating. At the same time you say you moved back to Ukraine. In order to move back you would have had to live in the US, not just go there to get a rating. One does not move back from a vacation abroad after all.

Your story is full of holes, not very credible.
