Why are you coaching as a 1600? You are teaching your students the wrong thing
Feedback
Hello, Dave. I focus on beginners way below my rating (mostly around 700 - 1000) and create puzzles with easy solutions and examples of simple endgames.
Progress on Chess.com coaching program is proof that I know what I'm doing. For someone rated 1900, you sure spend a lot of time whining in forums instead of setting a good example.
Weird take Dave, that's like saying a new line cook can't learn anything from their chef because they're not Michelin rated. Too much elitism in chess, this is the for beginners forum...

its the blind leading the blind..
anyone who has 1600 can teach me more than a thing or two about improvement -- so why the hostile attitude form a few above commentators seems like they are jealous he /she has students to teach and the time to do it -- good luck on your teaching plans more power to you
After 30 days of coaching my game has improved a lot. Moves make more sense and I gained over 100 points in rapid. Very helpful advices and tips for begginers.
