Question With Puzzle. Can't King just take queen here?

I've had this issue a few times and maybe I just don't understand. I am a new player. The puzzle has me taking the pawn on G2 with my queen, thus putting the king in check. But can't the king take the queen immediately after and ultimately being a losing trade for me?
Any input would be greatly appreciate as this struggles me in games as well.
No, because the queen is protected by the bishop.
