I am incredibly proud to share a milestone with my chess community: Over the past 18 months, six of my students have reached the remarkable rating of 2000 on Chess.com and Lichess, starting from scratch. This journey has been one of dedication, growth, and continuous improvement.
Here’s a quick look at the impressive progress of my students:
This achievement has been made possible through a combination of daily tasks sent via Slack, direct daily communication with each student, and 60-minute live lessons twice a week. The consistent focus on building tactical skills, positional understanding, and game analysis has been a key factor in their success.
These students have shown unwavering commitment, and their progress proves that with the right guidance, daily effort, and structured learning, anyone can reach new heights in chess.
