Greetings from the wintry realms of Oz. I'm currently a >1000 player. I'm seeking advice on live chess time controls for improvement. I've read that Bullet & Blitz are too fast to learn. That 15 to 30 minute games are ok...but 2 to 3 hour games are best! That 2+12 are good. Bronstein suggested games of 15 minutes (10+5) or 30 minutes (20+10).
