Getting out of check - more guidance needed

When I do puzzles that involve getting out of check, I almost always get it wrong. I know the three basic types of getting out of check: capture, flee, and interpose. When there are multiple options I often choose the wrong one. Are there any videos or tutorials that will help me make the right decision more often, what else to look for in those situations? My puzzle rating bounces from as low as 800 and I’ve gotten as high as 1200, so I am very much a beginner.

Depend on the position and how or what might happen next so you might not keep getting it wrong but I think it is better to understand what is the problem it the puzzle than clicking and getting it wrong every single time

in a puzzle, check if you can take the piece they checked with. (usually you can take the piece with a lower point piece or trade.) then check if you can block. this is usually not correct unless you are blocking and attacking the piece they checked with at the same time. if you can't block or take it's move your king. and for that just check each square the king can go to and calculate ahead.
