Keep it solid and wait for Nelson to blunder. Take it to the endgame and that’s that.
it is easy to panic against Nelson’s early Queen assault but once you get past that it’s pretty mellow.

Try Hippo/modern defence as black. It's solid, and can lead to early queen trade. See below for your reference.

Just now I played this game against Nelson. As you can see, Nelson is terrible at playing endgames. Also, even though I blundered my knight on move 10, after trading queens, Nelson just played badly. I would suggest to trade queens, and go into an even endgame.
I'm an unrated player (really only watch chess on youtube and play tactics) but I managed to beat Nelson after trying for a while! Seems he blundered a piece and a fork later but really happy I was able to diffuse his early attacks and figure out that sacrificing the exchange at the end would work! Really happy about this one and maybe I'll play some more for real

If you dont mind me asking what customization of figurines is that it looks awesome
Finally beat him after about 1000 tries. Had to trade queens early.
When I'm playing against Nelson as White, I bring the knights out first - they may attack the queen a million times, which has happened before. Often.
With black, against e4, which he plays about 90% of the time, I play Nc6. Now, against anyone else in the world, I would not deign to play this. However, Nelson's second move will be Qh5, after which you play Nf6, and attack the queen.
That's pretty much the strategy against Nelson - attack the queen a bazillion times, and he's bound to blunder something.
This bot likes moving his queen instead of developing and bring his king to safety. This in most cases leads to several problems cause he loses a lot of tempo and material
He often plays this wayward queen attack :

Just develop normal and look for opportunities.
How do you do that?
I posted a blog today of a particular trap for Nelson's queen (and for anyone who does the Wayward). At the end of the blog there's a link of my game with him where I forced him to trade his queen with my knight from early on.
