Sicilian is a good opening but you should play the hyper accelerated Dragon Variation because it is a lot less complicated and learn how to play it and do not use the kings gambit and try to the dutch

The main problem is the Sicilian requires very good piloting.
Black has slower development in the Sicilian.
In addition, Many Beginners like doing Bc4 attacks.
The correct way for Black to respond to Bc4 lines is by playing an e6 Sicilian line.
The issue is many beginners who play the Sicilian are not trying to play an e6 Sicilian line.
The e6 Sicilian lines are not as flashy or popular among beginners which causes issues.
Most Beginners playing a Sicilian will be going for Dragon setup and most of them will lose to an opponent doing a crazy unsound Bc4 + Ng5 or Ne5 attacking f7 maneuver.
It happens so much that it’s not even worth telling a beginner to play the Sicilian.
They are just better off playing a different opening
