Tactics are the by far most important thing until at least until ~1500, so puzzles are a great tool for improving at that, but it's important you take your time and only make your guess after you feel confident.

Other than that, long games like 15|10 and 30|0 are really important. I'm seeing you're already doing that so keep it up and don't be afraid to use half your clock in the first dozen moves.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Along with some good advice already, I'd add that everyone is improving, but just at different rates. So if you aren't "getting better", meaning if your rating stays the same, you actually are improving. SOURCE: Not knowing how numbers work? I don't know. That might track.

Only play whilst having fun!!! It helps a lot, trust me.

For training as everyone says, solve tactics!

Also you might want to pick up some end-game skills by now. The simple ones first, pawn King vs. King and Two Pawns King vs. Pawn King.

You might wanna watch some analysises of professional games, that are less sensational and more serious. (Everyones favourite: Agadmator) It seems more complicated, but you can get an Idea of what a good structure looks like. Just don't be discouraged by "I am sure everyone is seeing it now". Lots of people joke about how they don't.
