How to checkmate with only a rook (Box Method)

1. Choose a corner
2. Keep making the box smaller
3. Create opposition if needed (Opposition is when a king face each other with one square between them)
4. Do not give check until checkmate
5. If stuck at final step look at this:
6. If you keep moving the king back and forth it might end up in repetition so try triangulation

But how do you mate with a rook tho? Your all starting where it’s easy.

In the first position there's an obvious mate-in-2. but the OP shows a nonsensical 6 move sequence instead.

Please don't give any more advice. Learn stuff instead.

Using the box method may be a bit tricky(especially for a beginner) maybe you could use this other method...

dude im trying to tell don play the king back and forth learn to understand, don talk nonsense go don't give more comment, get common sense instead.
