How to get to 2000
This reminds me of a little story long time ago. I must’ve been 1600 or something OTB in my national rating and prob 1700-1800 on chess.com. One of my friends just said dude you can easily be 2k on chess.com it’s not that hard. Turns out he was right lol
hahahaha fun story
According to GM Noel Struder all you need to reach 2000 on chess.com is:
1. Play games and analyze them (dont play fast time controls though, especially not below 1000)
2. Solve chess puzzles on the regular
3. Pick one topic, like endgames, and learn it for a while (months) before picking another. Dont try to learn everything at once then you will learn nothing for real.
2000??? 1000s are already scary for me.
And today all 400s just pulverised me. I should be glad to be below 400 blitz again. They were way too tough for me and didn't hang any piece and just made no mistake I was able to punish.
400 blitz and 400 rapid is like night and day. 400 rapid I'm still able to beat. But today Nothing went my way in 400 blitz. Results today: 2 wins, 2 draw, 14 losses. *blushes* <- lol
Hi guys! I'm a 2200 rated player and I wrote an ebook on how to train chess for people that are stuck at chess and have no clue how to train. My framework worked for me and my siblings:
Me: got to 2000 in 2 years strating from 100 elo on chess.com
My 8 year old brother: 1 and a half years to get to 2000
my 13 year old sister started playing chess 5 months ago, she was at around 700 and just reached 1700
So I gradually improved my framework to make it more and more accurate. You guys dont need coaches just a method that works. I did it and I didn't pay a single penny, except for chess.com diamond ahhahaha.
